The Actors Theater of Orcas Island (ATOI) exists to enhance the quality of life on Orcas Island by providing quality theatrical experiences for the residents of Orcas Island and other areas in the State of Washington. We also provide formal and on-the-job training for playwrights, actors, directors and others involved in theatrical productions. We provide opportunities for people involved in the theater to demonstrate and improve their skills by participating in theatrical productions. ATOI is an all volunteer organization (except for instructors in our training programs). ATOI considers itself an “incubator” by bringing new people into the theater, providing training and performance opportunities as well as expanding the knowledge of those already involved in the theater so they are capable of undertaking more responsible positions.
