About This Event

Assembly #136, also known as the John E. Alexander Assembly, was established in 1977 and has been instrumental in promoting magic as a performing art in Tucson. The assembly hosts monthly meetings, lectures, and events, nurturing local talent and contributing to the city’s cultural fabric. The “Stars of Magic” show exemplifies this mission, featuring a diverse array of acts ranging from sleight-of-hand and mentalism to grand illusions and comedy.
In 2025, the show celebrated its 37th edition, reaffirming its status as a beloved Tucson tradition. With its blend of local talent and captivating performances, the “Stars of Magic” continues to enchant audiences and uphold the rich legacy of magic in the community.
