Discover the essence of Graycliff through creative movement expression inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright's light-filled masterpiece on the lake. Artist and teaching-artist Cynthia Pegado will guide this interactive experience outside on the grounds of Graycliff. Live violin music will support each participant's interpretive movement response. As "architect" of your movement dialog with Graycliff, a self-guided Open House tour of the grounds, gardens, and first floor of the Isabelle R. Martin house will provide an intimate opportunity for observation of design and aesthetics as source material. No dance experience is necessary. Suitable for the general public and people with mobility challenges or Parkinson's disease who can navigate grass and one step up to enter the house. Graycliff tours are not currently accessible, and masks and contact tracing information are required of all guests. Dress for the weather and wear footwear appropriate for movement through grass and garden pathways.
