About This Event
Over 2 dozen amazing local artists have partnered with Habitat for Humanity of Waldo County to raise funds to help build homes for those in need in our community. The artists have painted en plain-air in Belfast and the surrounding area over the summer, and their works will be featured online at https://www.artworksforhumanity.org/ in September before being auctioned off. A public viewing will take place in the Bay View Room of the United Farmer's Market of Maine on September 28th from 2:30- 3:30. This will be followed by a ticketed reception from 4:30-5:30. The auction - featuring Belfast mayor, Eric Sanders, will begin at 5:30. Absentee and phone bidding can be arranged in advance for those unable to attend in person.
