Aborting Fascism: A Sketch Comedy Benefit for Indivisible Santa Cruz County

The show is a glorious mix of contemporary political satire (if satire still exists) and random jaunts into the deranged psyche of homo sapiens starring Gail Rich Award-winning actress Suzanne Schrag and featuring live music with the Bob Vickers Trio. 

An intrepid reporter exposes a world of elite depravity that makes the “Eyes Wide Open” orgy look like a Mormon Home Evening in Ogden, Utah. A former fry cook must endure ICE’s rigorous new twelve-minute training regimen before embarking on the hunt for dangerous nannies and landscapers. A new biopic about Homer focuses less on hexameters and more on sex and drugs as the blind bard descends into an odyssey of shame. An innovative sex-trafficking ring discovers an untapped pool of victims. 

Dangerous Neighbors has been performing in the Bay Area on and off since the early 1990s and its latest incarnation was called into service in 2025 by the country’s helter-skelter vote to put an insurrectionist felon back in the White House. Last year’s show, “Deflating Fascism,” was a smash success of sold-out houses that made thousands of dollars for Indivisible Santa Cruz County.
